Welcome to this fan appreciation/tribute site for "The DeFranco Family - featuring Tony DeFranco" pop group. The DeFranco Family's recording and television career took off in the 1970's. Their first record, "Heartbeat It's a Lovebeat" went gold and platinum in 1973. The DeFranco Family's records, including "Abra-Ca-Dabra" and "Save the Last Dance For Me," were also in the Top 40. Their music could be heard not just in the Americas, but in other parts of the world, including Europe and Asia.  Many fans enjoyed going to The DeFranco Family's concerts and watching them on t.v. shows, such as "American Bandstand."

My interest as a fan of The DeFranco Family began in the early 1970's when they were  living in Ontario, Canada. There were many of us who enjoyed watching the band grow in popularity.  Today, the group's members, Benny, Marisa, Nino, Merlina and Tony, live in California. They have their own families, as well as careers in such fields as film production and high end real estate.

This fan appreciation tribute site to the DeFranco Family is a work in progress. If you have pictures (will be credited) or information to add, please email me at the address below.
